One day as I was walking home from school, I saw camels and a group of people. I thought they were going to kidnapp me, but as they got closer I found out it was my uncle! I ran to him and gave him the biggest hug he had ever had from me. I haven't seen my best uncle in years! I asked, "Who are all these people?" with a suspicios look on my face. He replied, "My friends in my caravan." "Caravan?", I said awkwardly. He had to leave so I continued walking home.
When I got home went on my computer and found out what a caravan was. It is a group of people with camels. I thought to myself. "Do I want to be in a group of people that are as old as my uncle and with camels?" Well I am a girl that goes actually no where. I have never been to that fast food restaurant called McDoodle! Waith, is it even called McDoodle? Whatever. So if I never been out of my house, saying yes to my uncle would be a good experience for me going ou on adventures.
The next day I go out the door, start walking to my bus top and my uncle and his caravan randomly comes. I say, "What you doing here again?' He replies, "Well you never answered my question," "will you join my caravan?" I think for a moment, and say, "Yes!" with excitement. I run back to my house telliing all my parents the news.  There reaction was nothing that I ever expected. They were so happy that I was leaving. What did I ever do to them? Well, I still have a grin, the fact that I get to explore out in the desert. The next day I am already packed, my uncle and his caravan aren't here yet. I wonder to myself, "How did they get here," "where did they sleep at?" He answered, 'Don't worry little one."
Before our big trip my uncle taught me how to ride a camel. It was a piece of cake. It was exactly like riding a horse but camels have humps. I was shocked when my uncle told me that camels can still live without water. I wish humans and all animals were like that. After all the short training, my uncle told me I had to by appropriate clothes. I had to get a whole new wardrobe.
