This week is "Red Ribbon Week" and this week means that we should never do drugs. At my school their are special events at my school. On Monday we got to wear sweat pants are top. On Tuesday, it was a day to wear a bright top and the brighter it was the better. On Wednesday, it was wacky clothes so that was a fun experience of wearing funky clothing.
On Late-Start Thursday it was a funny day to have our hair looking it weirdest. Friday, today, we get to wear any sports jersey. It can even be a school spirit jersey. This week has been very crazy and I am glad I got to spend it with my fellow friends at school.

So today we had a sub in science, and we did an experiment called the wet mount slide. It was a very fun experience. I m going to tell you how to make one. Well first of all you are going to need the following: newspaper, water, a clean clear slide, a microscope and a plastic slide. Once you have all of that you want to get your clear slide and put a piece of newpaper. A thing about the newpaper is that you want it to have little letters on it; not big bold letters from a title. Next, you want to drop enough water that the whole piece of newpaper is damp. After gently pu the plastic slide, and a tip is that you shouldn't directly put it on. You want to go to one of the sides and just softly lay it on the wet newspaper. The reason for this is because you don't want bubbles on the slides. Now you are done dealing with the slide.
Now we are going to talk about the microscope. You want to put your slide on the microscope in the center. When that is finish, turn your microscope on to low power on your lens. Then, look into the eyepiece and level the stage and then level to finess. Once you have done all of that you want to draw a picture of what you see in the low power of the lens.

The experiement we did to day was something like this.

Technology today is very crazy than how it was in the 1900s! People these days make lots of cool things. You can have a big touchscreen tablet now, but in the 1900s there was probably only desktop computers.
If you think to yourself, you'll probably say hey since the technology now is so cool the ones in the future can be even cooler! I know someday someone will make a very cool gadget, computer, or device. Probably someone can make transportation through technology.

When I think of bullying, I think of people getting hurt, teased, and picked on over and over. Yes, I have been bullied before, just because of my race. I ignored it because to me it didn't matter. I should of told them something, but I was afraid if I told them something the bullying will happen even more. I regret not saying anything. If I see someone getting bullied, I'd help them. I'd tell them to stand up for themselves. That is what I should of done. I realized if you tell them something, it'll prevent getting bullied.
For now on the next time I get bullied I am going to stand up for my self and be brave instead of scared. When I see someone getting bullied, I will give him/her advice to be a stronger, brave person.

The biggest fear I had when I first stepped in middle school was that I thought I wouldn't have many friends. I had lots in elementary. Barely three of my friends are going to Computech with me. I'm glad I just didn't three friends all because of summer school. I made a full classroom of friends. I thanked my dad over and over for signing me up for summer school.
If I wasn't in summer school, I would of regret it. At first I was very shy, but as the first week of summer school went by I realized that I knew I can get along with all these students. It was awkward introducing my self to some of the students but when we began talking about things we like the awkwardness faded away. I had new friends to talk to everyday in summer school.

Yesterday was the first dance of the school year. It was nothing like I expexted. I thought it was going to be light and not pretty loud in the cafeteria, but I was wrong. It was pitched black and it was so crowded. There was fog, strobe lights, and good music. There was circles of people wathcing students dance. My friends and I danced like there was no tomorrow. Everyone was yelling and singing. It was one of the best dances it been to. This experience makes want to go to all the school dances.

Today is Free Write Friday, and I am going to talk about how P.E is going for me. So far P.E is going great. We just got done playing Ultimate Frisbee. Since that is out of the way, our next unit is swimming. We are going to swim in the big pool up at Edison High School starting Monday. I can't wait, because I love swimming and plus I am not going to be that hot and sweaty! The odd things is that wearing a bathing suit. That would be so awkward, but it's worth it. On Monday, I hope we play one of my favorite water games. It is called "Shark" and it is so fun! The rules of the games is that one person is the shark and they can't open their eyes above water. So when they are under water, they have to find someone and tag him/her on the back. Whoever gets tag, that student is the shark. Doesn't that game sound fun to you?! It is to me, I have played it a million times!

So far in computer class, my classmate and I have been focusing on a website called My Digital Life. The thing about it is that we have been learning stuff about what we can and can't do on the computers. We have to watch videos about a topic and at the end we take a quiz. Everything on my Digital Life is like a cartoon with teenagers. The topics we have been learning are stuff like copyright. Copyright is that when someone posts something online and if they copyright it, you can post it anywhere online besides them. For example, you find a really cute picture but the owner copyrighted it, so that means you can't copy the picture and post it on your website or someone's website.
We also been learning about how to pick a good electronic for the right situation. Say your teacher needs you to buy a electronic for the class, and the class is about making presentations. So you want a good device that can make good presentations, and if there are lots of students you might want to get one with a big amount of size in the hard drive.

One day there was a little selfish boy named Alex He always wanted everything! He wined for this he wined for that! His parents were going poor because of the stingy little boy. The next day, Alex gave them a whole list of stuff he wanted for Christmas. The list was probably 10 feet long with 6 inches. Alex's parents thought they were going to kill themselves. The next week his parents thought of ways of how to get rid of Alex. They searched all over the internet. It's 3 o'clock in the morning, while Ale is asleep his mother thinks of great idea! "We should take him to military camp for kids!" she whispers excitedly. The next day Alex's mom wakes uyp Alex, and tells him to get ready and pack to go to grandma's house. He totally felt for it.

It is almost the end of the first quarter and I am dying to bring my grades up! Luckily today, my science teacher gave me a paper of lots of choices I can do to bring my grade high up. This will save me a whole lot, because I was going to have a heart attack. I am going to have to ask my other fellow teachers about extra credit, because I really need it. Well actually I think my very first report card from middle school is going to be horrible, because I am getting use to having lots of homework. I hope my dad will understand me. I am looking forward to having A's in English, Science, Pre- Algebra, P.E, and AVID. I already have an A in most of those classes, and I hope it stays like that.
